Decorated American rapper, singer, songwriter, NF, otherwise known as Nathan John Feuerstein was born in Gladwin, Michigan on March 30, 1991. Like many other rappers, NF was influenced by rap from a young age and would make his own songs on a karaoke machine by recording instrumentals in one microphone and lyrics in another microphone.

NF had a similar upbringing to Eminem and actually credits him as a heavy influence to his style. As a child, his parents divorced and he was raised by his mother until her boyfriend abused him and NF’s father had to take him away. In 2009, his mother passed from an overdose leading to NF’s single “How Could You Leave Us” dedicated to her.

NF signed with Capitol Christian Music Group in 2014 and saw success shortly thereafter. His 2017 album release “Perception” on topped the charts at No. 1 on Billboard edging out other artists such as Lil Pump, Gwen Stefani and others. Less than 2 years later, NF achieved what was thought to be impossible again. His album “The Search” was No. 1 new album, beating Chance the Rapper’s, Andy Grammar, and Ed Sheeran.

But with all this success, people still find themselves asking: Who is NF?

Here is the complete discography of NF, including every album, mixtape, single, and feature.

Nate Feuerstein, NF, is a new artist to keep your eye on. With deep, powerful, and most definitely, meaningful lyrics he’s definitely an artist that most listeners can relate to in one way or another. This style of rap was hotter back in the 90s when Eminem was in his early prime. Now, this style seems to be more of a curiosity that’s become foundational to rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, Logic, and NF himself. But, if one thing is true, all these rappers execute the style extremely well.
